321 Geocaching

3  did not finds, 2 regular finds, and a benchmark. Went out today and attempted to solve a puzzle cache. These are the ones you must do some work, get coordinates and find the treasure. The first one was a bust we searched for 20 minutes or so in a river rock patch.  It really felt like rearranging deck chairs on the titanic flipping rocks. Only there was no boat and no sinking only an endless amount of river rocks to look under. We then went and grabbed one near a store. Found it fast and signed it in the car.
Then tried a puzzle cache in a cemetery this time the oleander bushes had been removed that hid the cache.  Also the cache had been removed. Left this one to try another puzzle cache at the library. This one was suppose to be in a tree.  When I got to the tree it had been cut back. Fortunatly for us there was one accross the street in another tree grabbed it and a benchmark.

Benchmark is a point whose position is known to a high degree of accuracy and is normally marked in some way. The marker is often a metal disk made for this purpose, but it can also be a church spire, a radio tower, a mark chiseled into stone, or a metal rod driven into the ground.
