Yesterday night we attended our first flash mob. This is when a group of geocachers get together for a short time (15 minutes) chat, draw a FTF and leave. This one was at the location just before the Citrus Heights 10 Years Event. We had a great time meeting many of the cachers from our area and reconnecting with those we have met along the way.
At the event we got a hint for the cache we missed earlier that morning and went back to grab it. By this time it was dark and the pic is as good as it gets.
Today I woke up early, thanks to TJ, and found five new caches listed. I ran out of the house to attempt the FTF. These caches were within 2 miles of my home so I had to try. I got the first one within seconds of arrival getting my 11th FTF and decided to drive to the next. The next one was at a location where another cache used to be. I found the cache and found Quadventure listed under the FTF 20 minutes earlier. That man does not sleep, the night before he was grabbing FTF's at midnight. The second I put the cache back my phone rang and it was Quadventure. He was at the cache I had just FTFed. I went and said hello then called it a morning. I had to get back home and get ready for work.
This evening I attended the last 10 years event in Fair Oaks. If you look close you can just see TJ's head in the very back row. Many of the people we met at our very first event attended and it was fun to see them again. This night was just nT and Tj as the other T had to work. We met some great new people and reconnected with others. TJ was a Trooper! That is us sitting with Tjhooper.
