This morning Teri suggested that we go on a hike to feather falls. After a little research and convincing we decided that feather falls was a little to ambitious for a two year old. We instead decided to go up to Auburn and visit the man made waterfalls of the Clementine Lake Dam. TJ crashed out after a few minutes and napped for the entire drive up.
On the way up we stopped in Loomis to grab coffee and a cache.
When we got to the Falls we began our hike to the falls.
There was a geocache nearby but we couldn't find out how to get there.
Instead we enjoyed the view and noise of the falls.
We then headed down to the lake floor to grab a different geocache. Halfway down Teri and TJ stopped due to the steep trail.
I ran down grabbed the cache.
This one is from the bottom, then I ran back to meet them.
We then drove back into Auburn to eat lunch, then grab some caches.
We started out with a small nano on a park bench that had a completly full log. It was at this point that TJ was getting tired and started running away from us. That is the cache in his hands, very small.
We turned up the street and grabbed another at the giant wagon wheel.
Lastly we went to the location of the transcontinental railroad as it was originally built in Auburn when heading across the US.
TJ and I signed the log and got attacked by tiny red spiders on the ground. That got our total finds, which I figured out includes all things geocaching, to 249.
