Friday night came and we realized that only one of us had been driving the new geocache mobile. So we got in the car and headed for a new cache in Loomis just 8 miles away. We arrived at ground zero and looked for about a half and hour. At the moment of giving up T made the grab and the FTF was ours.
Littleman was excited!
On the way home I thought to myself that I should look for any new caches. When I did we had just passed a new one on the freeway. We quickly turned around and went for the find. When we arrived, another cacher showed up. We went looking through in the bushes and eventually made the find. We shared the FTF while a third cacher arrived to be the Second to Discover. Littleman swapped a peso for a lego man. Not sure if the value was equal, the coin was like a million pesos. All-n-all it was a good caching evening.
Saturday arrived and we could not find a cache. Our first attempt was a multicache and the first stage was a piece of cake. The second took us to a sticker bushed area. Having only flip flops the search was called off due to painful feet.
The second cache seemed that it should be an easy one at a parking lot. We looked for about fifteen minutes then decided to give up as we had exhausted all areas to search.
Lastly we went for a cache that required a tool.
After making one out of the stuff in my trunk the cache came out much easier then I thought it would. I assumed that the top of the container might be magnetic and I grabbed it on the first try.
