I don't have to work to many weekends but this was one of them. The last three caches found happened early in the morning as to reduce my stress after work. I believe finding a cache in the evening is much harder. First issue is definitely the light. Using a flashlight makes it more difficult. Secondly, I tend to move on quicker. If I don't find the cache quickly I move on to the next one. My looking time is much less in the dark. Friday, I went for a cache in the store parking lot near my work. When I arrived the cache was archived. That is when a cache has been stolen and is no longer in play. I quickly found another cache near a gas station and grabbed my daily cache.
Saturday I went to breakfast with the family before work and found a cache. This one was also at a gas station and a man was sitting in his truck next to the hide location. I had to sneak up and get the find. That type of experience makes playing the game fun. It's the same level of adrenalin you got as a child playing hide and go seek, only for grownups.
