Still Caching

I have given in that we will only be finding about one a day until the year is up. No more big days with multiple finds. Friday night I attended a vigil for all of the recent suicides with Littleman. Afterward I grabbed a cache about a mile from home. The difficulty was high but I found it immediately. The first place I looked held the cache. It was a night cache and I had to wait for the cars to go away in order to turn on the flashlight.  It took a long time to get the cache and then return it because of this.
Saturday was homecoming so we went to the university and watched our team win. Then we watched our Bass Fishing team also win the regional championship.
Later, I grabbed a cache just down the street from the one the previous night. Littleman was fussing so I took him with me and the caching calmed him down. While returning Littleman to his seat someone drove by and gave us a honk. They must have been geocachers.
Sunday was 10/10/10 and the geocaching community was trying to break their record of the most caches found in one day.  We went and grabbed two after some Halloween costume shopping. The first was one was a redo of one I couldn't find last time. Someone had just found it so we gave it another try. It was cleverly hidden in something that kind of looked like trash. Then we went for one on the other side of the same location. This one the wife found and the day knocked out Littleman.
Monday was the annual founders day celebration for my fraternal organization and I picked a cache up just before the event. It was a cache located in my second least favorite areas, rocks! Something about looking through river rocks drives me crazy. The first will remain junipers.
