Longest Posting Slowdown!
I had pledged to post more often but for some reason that went by the wayside and now we are two weeks since my last post. The streak continues and I have cached for 331 consecutive days. coming close to the end and I have picked up the pace this winter season going after FTF's and many unique caches. Lets review.....
Sunday the 12th we attended a geocaching flash mob event we sang a carol and left the scene. Just before the event we grabbed a cache after not finding three of them.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I grabbed quick caches on the way to work.
One of them was attached to an old cannery building and was interesting to get. You had to take the building apart.
Thursday started by not finding one on the way to work but then leaving for lunch and getting my daily grab. I got lucky this day cause the rain stopped.
Friday went for another lunch time cache, grabbed this one a little ways away from my work but was able to get it handily.
The Weekend brought a few more caches. I decided to clean up the Roseville Road negative side. I had skipped a few due to lack of parking so I grabbed them all this weekend.
Monday night 10 new caches were posted. I left and ran to them not looking at a map. When I arrived I could not figure a way to get them. I walked to one then the next and so on until I had four FTF's. I then realized that the next closest one was next to my car. Running back I ran into some fellow cachers and they had retrieved the other five but missed one. We all shared the FTF on that final one. I couldn't believe that I missed the one right next to my car.
Tuesday got one in the morning then grabbed an FTF with my Geocaching compadre Quadventure.
Tried again on Wednesday but we came in second to the Citrus Heights puzzle master Billrow.
The rest of the week was slow grabbed a couple caches here and there and now we are home. Today I think I will try to get some challenge caches done then move on to something else.
