The two Saturdays ago we attended a geocacher event. It is so much fun to meet up with others that do this crazy adventure. There were many people that I knew and others I had just met.
That Sunday we picked up our 800th find. On the next Monday I found a cache in the morning then on the way home noticed that I was right next to a parking lot that had contained a new one posted earlier that day. I decided to try and when I did I found the FTF. I also got another update on the way home and traveled to that one and got the co ftf with a bunch of fellow cachers. Everyday since that one was a single cache day.
I grabbed one in Indiana when I traveled there for a conference. I tried for two but the snow stopped my attempt. This involved trekking in the snow to some really cool statues.
When you find one in different states you get little stamps on your geocaching accounts called souvenirs. I walked into the forest and the hint was at the base of a tree. There were hundreds of trees and the snow covered the bases. I felt I could have been there all day so I moved one. We have nine more days to complete the year. I hope that it passes easily. It was foggy two days ago on the way to work so I got an eerie picture of a crazy looking tree.
