I get emails when a new cache is posted and it is really amazing how that gets your adrenaline pumping. The email came at about 3:30 and for about 15 minutes thought how nice it would be to be one of those people that could lie and get out of work. Since that is not my style I gave up the thought of leaving early. Then my boss came in and sent me home early. I drove in the rain like mad to the new cache. Checking frantically to see if anyone logged a find. I arrive at ground zero and no one was around. I check the logs again and still no finds. I find the cache and.........SEVEN people had found it already. Oh well it was a fun hunt in the pouring rain.
