Had relatives coming in from out of town so attempted to grab a cache before they got here. After three failed attempts and iphone geocaching issues decided to wait until they left. We took my inlaws to the park near our home to show them what a cache looks like. This was one of our first finds but a good one to show how things are hidden in plane sight.
We also took the old dog along, and this made her very happy.
This cache we found today is just of a main road near our home.
Traffic and trains whiz by as you make the grab. It is a relatively desolate area so it is strange that the cache has gone missing a few times.
Anyhow found it and logged it, notice the coins above. Those are from someone from the caching and dining society event we went to last nite. I saw him there and this is his cache. The cache was up in a tree, I always feel ichy after getting caches in a tree. I think it is something about the needles of the tree touching my head.....itchy now just thinking about it.
