Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

I missed a few days of posting but did not miss a day of caching. That is now a full two months of this crazy game.  Starting in reverse order, Friday night I grabbed another one.  I had a new FTF show up right after seeing Clash of the Titans.  I quickly drove over to in and attempted the find.  It was in a really nice part of Granite Bay. For those not from Sacramento that is the rich area of town.  I had to park about .3 miles away and run to the cache.  It was incredibly exciting leaving my car in a place it should not be and making my way to the cache.  When I arrived I realized I was third, oh well it was a fun King Tut theme. While signing the log a family was watching me from their minivan.  It turns out they were the hiders of the cache.
Saturday, I traveled to the Bay Area for my son's second birthday. On the way there I grabbed two caches. First from the area on the way from Davis that all of the Greeks put their letters on the levee.  It was really close to the Freeway. I always wanted to see what it looked like from the ground.
The next one was in Benicia at a truck stop.  I had to hike up the hill but that gave me a great view of the Mothball Fleet. I stopped at this one because it was suppose to have a travelbug that was traveling to Carmichael, the town next to mine. Unfortunately it was not there but the view was worth the stop.

Sunday we came home and picked one up in old Cordelia. This is a place I would like to go back to and check out this watering hole. It was part of the historic route 40, and just off of 80.
