After yesterday we began only needing 2 finds to reach 300. Littleman's grandparents were in town so after breakfast we grabbed a quick one. It was a simple find but with a fun twist. There were four containers to search in for the log.
That got us to 299 so we went off to find a harder cache for 300. We found one that was in a park that required a little hiking and navigating some blackberry bushes.
They had surrounded the cache so it took some time to figure out the best route. We separated from little man and his mom in order to keep him safe. When we made it to the ground zero Littleman's grandfather noticed a cigarette butt and said we must be in the right spot there is a victory smoke.
Two feet from the butt we found the cache and made the find. Just behind my ear you can see Littleman, his Mom and Grandmother.
After navigating our way out and since Littleman was a good sport we went to a cache at a preschool for kids. We let Littleman find the cache and haul it out.
He followed the rules and traded a matchbox car for a football. All in all it was a great weekend of caching. Hard to believe that we have only been doing this for four months.
