Big Time Sunday
Sunday was a busy day for the geocaching, TJ's grandparents came up and let us free to cache. We started before they got here attempting to get some difficult ones. After two DNF's we went for and easy one.
Later on we went to dinner than ran around downtown and grabbed six caches. The first find was at the five point crosses. The shire and dome are also geological benchmarks.
We then went for one that had a fake cockroach inside, when it fell out I did jump.
Next we grabbed another one on a rooftop of a parking structure. This one looked down upon the music circus tent pavilion.Taking the picture was kinda scary as the ledge was only about six inches deep.
This one we returned to after getting kicked out by a wedding photographer. We were looking in the statures when a huge wedding party came up and set up in front of us for pictures. Teri most of the caches this evening.
We then went to the capital and searched for the trees This cache was a puzzle cache that we had to hunt for tree number 192 in the tree tour. Unfortunately, we parked at tree number 8. It took a while to find it.
The next cache was at a park bench in the capital mall. It was a micro and we didn't take a picture. The final cache was on the way home and it was getting dark so I broke out the headlamp. It was a fun one in a pine cone very creative. The total for the night was 298, two more for three hundred.
