Today we got our parking pass for the Sacramento County Parks and visited one down the road from our house. We hiked down to the river and found a cache. It was a great day to geocache due to the 80 degree weather. At the river a two ducks were bathing in the small pool near the shore. Another family was also hiking.
Along the way we passed some wild turkeys and grabbed a cache.
We also visited the nature center were they have some interesting exhibits.
When leaving the area took a wrong turn and grabbed a cache just outside the park.
At this point we were starving so we headed to the store and grabbed some lunch then a cache. This one was thrilling to grab due to the people everywhere. It was also under some stairs which required some crawling.
No more caching on this day but later on attended our first Demolition Derby, wow that is crazy fun. Two days left this weekend and 10 away from 300 finds!
