Five days have past since the last blogging, but the streak continues. Lets fill in the holes....
Wednesday stopped by a park on the why home and grabbed one. The park had a large cement circle that I had to walk around in order to distract the muggles. When I finally got to the cache location I had to pretend to tie my shoe in order to not bring attention to myself. It was a cool park that had a water feature, will have to return another day since the weather is now well over 100.
Thursday brought another single cache day. Tried to get one when I was on my way to work but when I got to the location I found the cache container on the road. It was missing the magnet to connect it the metal fence nearby. I pocketed the container and logged that I would return tomorrow with a fixed container. Had back to school night so I picked one up on the way. It was at the mall and the container was similar to my first FTF. I think it was the same one a peanut butter container painted camo. It was called bridge to know where.
Friday morning I returned the cache and logged it was back and in good shape. It was a challenge cache that you can log when you have failed at 10 FTFs. It was called the consolation challenge, and you can log it five times. I only logged it once and when I have more time I will look for other missed FTF's in my logs. The caches that count are the ones that you tried to get on the day it was posted and did not get the FTF. Friday night came and we picked one up after dinner. It was a quick cache that I brought back to the car for Littleman to inspect. Thank goodness there was nothing in the cache he wanted. It makes it easier to put back.
Saturday was a double FTF day. The morning started with a new cache we packed in the car and drove to it. When we arrived and another cacher parked right behind us. I ran to the location and found the cache. I shared the FTF with the other cacher and left the prize for the second to discover.
Saturday night another new cache was posted and I left the house to get it. I arrived in a part of Roseville that I had not been to and noticed many people that were walking.
I walked down the hill and grabbed the FTF, but due to the weird location I had to sit on the lawn for a minute to distract the muggles..
